Alright. I'll spell it out for you, seems how you've got all upset by taking one comment out of context.

This is the post I was replying to:

Man I miss my car!

I live in an area with alot of nice winding roads and on a nice pretty Sunday afernoon, all the rich guys with their M3s, vettes, Porshes, Lambos, ect will cruise. Since its a road I travel daily I'm usually right there in the middle in my cheap econo-box playing along! I saw John Snyder (PapaJohn) last week down there in a red Ferrari.

Actually since I know the roads really well and my Ralliart loves to eat curves I can push some of those higher end sports cars through the turns. Too bad they blow me away on the straights. :(

So he gets guys in M3's, porsches, lambo's etc going for a 'spirited drive' on the twistys by where he lives, he does a good job of keeping up with them thru the corners but is left behind on the straights, probably because his mitsi is less powerful and about 1/10th the cost. So I said;

Really? Any rich fool can drive fast in a straight line....

Meaning, do you really think its too bad they blow you away on the straights, given that you can keep up with them thru the corners where speed comes from a combination of driver ability, suspension set up, brakes, tyres, etc, and not just horsepower.

Do I need to explain further? :screwy:

just stop you look silly. i am not being mean just up front.
Speaking of looking silly, I must have missed the post you made with pics of your car, and times/results etc from all the motorsport you do.
You sound like an internet-expert or a kid who doesn't even have his license yet.

didnt feel the need to post a ton of pics but i can. did you see my hillclimb race? in this thread. must have missed a few?

also if intrested go to supercharged photos and look at any of the derby pics. i run the double trouble train and the 460 rollovercars and the 460 demo cars. and am the driver of the "trouble" trailer race car. we as a team also run the 773, 690, 269, cars as well!

Cool, all that means nothing to me, perhaps posting a link would have helped. I'm not trying to have a go at you, I was just interested as you seem like either a knowledgeable person, or someone who's good at pretending to be one.

lot of people measure fly wheel hp to find the power of the engine's "full power" to calculate the power that's being put down. it works better with turbos and super chargers, to see if they must up grade drives shafts higher then stage 2.

hhmm no..

It's all in the driver, learn how to preload a clutch then you can be a good driver.

I ran low 10's all day long with stock axles or 300 M axles. Knowing how to pre-load the clutch at pre-stage/stage and 60ft mark (1-2 shift) is how you can be a good driver and saves drivetrain. I cut 1.59 sec on 60ft with front wheel drive..

I can careless flywheel hp. Most Engine dyno are used only to troubleshoot issues. Most higher HP cars don't get to see dyno pulls..

I usually sit on the dyno up until 700 ish, then we take it to the track and turn the boost up. Have you ever tried to dyno a 700 and up HP FWD cars on the dyno ? better have 10 straps ready :)

There was a time where I had 3 straps for the rear of the car, 4 straps for the front and 2 straps to hold down the lower control arms to rpevent the tire from spinning on the dyno. That was a drag radials too...
