So they took a lotus motor and put the M62 blower on it...seems fairly simple I dont see why those lotus owners with all there money just don't do that. And as far as the boost goes on a roots blower I'd think the only time it wasn't at a constant psi would be during shifts and lower throttle %. I've just seen s/c'd cars with BOV's on them before sometimes twin bov's.

No they swap the Lotus motor with the Ecotec motor and put a huge blower on it. Also upgrade suspension, tires, etc.

Probably a centrifugal supercharger. On a roots blower, a BOV would do nothing.

The new Cobalt SS is Turbo, and is 260 HP. Also has launch control. Just floor it at a standstill, it pegs at 5100 RPM.

Why did they change it, the hp #'s look better but I think the SS Cobalt I rode in was a 2006 and it was rock solid but probably only had 250 at the wheels with the mods it had, what I said plus a cai, and was running a test pipe instead of a cat. They have 225 hp stock at the crank right?

why power is not the thing , the lotus engine is made so that it deliver nice trouhout the revs. i you want tho hget more power change the supercharger with turbo's : advantige blowers give alot of heat and turbo's don't ad an extra oil cooler and some nice airducts and some body stifening and more frontal downfore and you have a start for an track day car
