Anyone Read?

Have you read Odd Thomas, Inglorious? Koontz's best series (next to Frankenstein)! It did start to decline at the end though...

The Christopher Snow ones were good too. (I think that was the character's name....)

Anyone ever finish the Orson Scott Card series of books base off Ender's Game? That one book was one of my favorites but never really got into any others.

I dont really read a lot. Maybe 1-2 books a year. But I am rolling through Game of Thrones. Currently almost done after a month. Plan on finish 1-2 more of the series before winter...

First book was great, second was acceptable, and after that the series collapses under its own weight.

I've read the entire Odd Thomas series, the first one was by far the best and they declined as each one came out but overall they were still good reads. I'm thinking about starting the Game of Thrones books but I don't know if I would be better off reading them first or watching them first.

I've been wanting to tackle those myself. I got halfway through the first one before the new (at the time) Temeraire book came out and I got sidetracked. They are quite a commitment though. Its my understanding that the series follows the books almost word-for-word...maybe you could just read along. lol

I like books about spies and war so I'm a big fan of anything with Tom Clancy's name on it. I also really like the Rogue Warrior series. Otherwise I'll read authors like Koontz, Grisham, Brad Meltzer.

If you want a real spy story, read Triple Agent, its almost too sad to describe.

michael conneley ,james lee burke ,john sanford ,stephen hunter, stephan j cannal, paul levine, stuart woods ,jon talton. 5 or so books a month

I have read three of the Frankenstein books by Koontz and loved them. Totally up my alley though!

I've never read Lee Child. Can you recommend a particularly good one?

I have only read a few of his Jack Reacher books and enjoyed them all so I guess you can't go wrong with any of those.
