Those driftwoods are actually the roots of eucalyptus
cut and lay upside down. They will submerge after a day in water, BTW I screwed the skinniest one to a sheet of acrylic to make it stand.
the wood had to come out it started to root its not supposed to be in water, those are old pics. ive been doing some research and my new guy is deffinately an armatus which is great and will get some sweet pics when my girlfriend gives my cam back. i want to let him grow just a little then throw my red tail back in the mix and see what happens. he has a different attitude then everyone else and isnt letting anyone else pick on him even though hes the smallest now. (not for long) sorry for the small pics their from my phone
look at my armatuses eyes then look at dr pez's eyes and then look at a red tails dark black eyes. his look just like mine but younger
Nice i would keep the red tail away from him! You scored a huge prize! That definetly does not happen often! Just feed him the best and get him bulked for your huge tank.
