ask the person you got it from? Thats what I'd do.

The water flows in one side (Not sure which one) and as far as my knowledge goes, flows directly on and pass the UV bulb then proceeds to flow out of the other end. UV stage complete.

Cool. You got yourself a jewel there

Input/output are the same.

Bulbs can be ordered (I doubt they have them in stock) from a commercial lighting supply.

Considering the age, the bulb is shot. Their changed every 6-8 mo.

DO NOT REMOVE IT FROM THE CASE AND TURN IT ON!!! That would be a VERY BAD thing!

You can drill a hole in the main tube and glue a clear plug (light brite) in to see lamp glow.

Now the bad news. The seals are as old as it looks :(. Hopefully they used 'O' rings. You can calculate wattage by measuring size of the lamp and cross referencing to a catolog. Or carefully take it apart (outside, should it break), there usually mark light regular fluorescent lamps.

Yes you could use it on the pond too.

cool.if it works i might do that.3 footer sounds perfect for the 480g pond.

Any other treasures you haven't shown us? Hhmmmm?!
nope that was it.
got it when i went back for the side filter media.
that media is some special strong stuff to.lol.like felt but 10 times stronger.

just opened it up.
no markings what so ever on the bulb. :screwy:
the bulb fits through the rubber pieces then when you tighten it down it squeezes it tight.
"im guessing"
the bulb looks like it has the metal coils inside on both ends but dont connect from side to side.
"not sure if thats normal" lol
