First thing, it's a perfectly normal tiger oscar and a nice looking one!

Second, never shop at that store because the manager is a moron. Tons of cichlids change colors due to there mood. I can't imagine how someone could work with aquarium fish for there living and tell you something so wrong.

I totally agree these "LFS's" cant afford to pay someone who actually knows what he is talking about.
