ya the forest service is easy to get into if you know someone, I was lucky enough to be trained by the head of a local division so he did offer a job. i respectfully declined as cdf was a better alternative. being a paramedic is demanded along with a 4yr degree. without it your just another bum trying to scrounge a FF job
