  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Its hard to tell

As my normally unstable 3 bar indo is now stable but this could just be down to adding a NGT

I doubt that RO affects stableness.
I know a member that has pure RO. Kept tigers for years now. None of his tigers are super stable.

My theory is . Some are some arnt. Some will never be. ;)

But intersted to hear more people with tigers in RO water.

I often find tiger can go stable just being near other tigers. Not necessarily fighting also a bit of displaying and chasing can make them stable OR unstable. Whatever works for some tigers I have been disprovem when the opposoite happems for another tiger. Some go black when netted out and some go stable when netted out.
Hemce I stick to my theory: Some are some arnt. Some will never be.

Very well put Ade!..totally agree!

Would love to see some underwater footage of I.T's in the wild!, be interesting to see if they are all stable in there natural surroundings.

Right I was running just di resin to get 0 tds and it was costing a bomb as it was dead in 2 days

I have just added a 150 gal per day membrane and the di resin after it

Basically I have converted my HMA filter into a RO unit

I wasn't getting enough from from low water pressure to run a RO drip and a HMA drip so a added a booster pump which you can see above one of the UV

Give a few weeks to see what happens

The pump can only be run for 2 hours then it needs to be turned off and rested for 30 mins
My Aquatronica system turns it on and off for me with a longer rest at night of 4 hours

I always thought that ph is the one thing we should all keep stable in our tanks.
Maybe if its done gradually then its no problem.
