Sounds good. I'll do a research on that. This sounds pathetic but the only zoo that I have been in the last 6 years is the LA Zoo in North Hollywood. I'll do research on zoos in Long Beach, Torrance, Manhattan, Redondo and other places. Thanks for the idea.

Make sure and post if you adopt out your fish. Call me a wimp, but I could never put down a healthy animal (even if it's JUST a fish). I don't mean to sound too negative, you gotta do what you gotta do...

Yeah, it sucks that I have to be in this situation. I'm not sure if I can do it either. When I was about 13, my father and I was going to cut our puppy's tail, he asked me to hold the tail and once he wasn't looking I bolted out of the door running out of the house and didn't come back 3 hours later. So yeah, hopefully someone adopts this fish. I mean two weeks is hopefully enough for this monster to be adopted by a forum member or by someone local.
