You know what.... This is truley SAD!!!!! YOU bought this fish, YOU knew how big it gets, YOU still decided to buy it! YOU need to be a MAN and keep this fish and keep him ALIVE and HEALTHY until you find him a new home. If it was a puppy or a kitten would you do the same????? NO! Living in So cal. there are hundereds of shops to call. CALL EVERY SINGLE ONE!!!!!! There is the pennysaver, the recycler, the newspaper all places you could put adds for a free fish. DO THE RIGHT THING AND TAKE AS LONG AS IT TAKES! And dont say you are "putting it to sleep" YOU are plain out planning on KILLING IT! If it was a large stingray or large asian arrowana you wouldnt even consider it. SO SAD!!!!!
 
Looks like this thread is becoming a "Bash arkmann thread"

Quite honestly, I don't really care if I get bashed or what not. I know that I am doing my best to get the fish a good 2nd home. I do not condone euthanasia but I will do what I need to do. I believe I am doing the right thing by trying to find it a good home. If that fails then I know what to do. I will not reply to any negative comments because it will not go anywhere.

all you have to do is feed your pacu everything the other fish do not like.. so sad to put him to sleep.. he will eat grapes and bananas and nuts and squash and carrot slices ..the others won't eat that except maybe pick on the squash..so while your starving out the others you can still feed him and give him more time to find him a home.. thats the kind of diet he should be on anyway with a few pellets once in awhile..i am sorry i read this thread..
