anyone wash there hands after they work with there tanks?

I rarely wash them afterward but I do have a small towel near my tanks that I use for wiping and drying my hands.

Clean, non neglected, established, fish tank water does smell great.. Well, i wouldn't bottle it and try to sell it as a body spray, but who wants tank smell car air freshener?

My fish are crazy during feeding time and i can guarantee you i get tank water in my mouth or eye daily.

all in all, if my fish are sick, ill wash my hands, if not, i dont wash my hands. rarely do i.

I used to like crazy when I started keeping fish but after you take a few swigs of tank water you get over it pretty quickly.

nope. if i am working with my tank, and have soap on my hands.. i make sure i wait atleast half a day before working with my tanks

Absolutely! I'm a mechanic so it's a must. I rinse very well. I'd rather a little soap residue (which there never is) than motor oil and a greasy film on the top of the water. It's my fish tank not the Gulf of Mexico. So I wash before and after
