Would Indian almond leaves be enough? My biggest problem is my temp is stable at 72F

Wo should I try to get the checkerbored or not? I am only getting em if I can ship them for free with someone's large order from Afishinandos. Or else what should I get, my options are:
- APISTOGRAMMA PANDURO
- Bolivian rams
- nanacara anamala (but they arnt from the amamzon' there CA mostly)
I want diversity amongst the
deanse leaf litter' so what would be some good numbers?

- Apistogramma Panduro
- Curviceps
- Checkerbored cichlid
- Nanacara Anamala

All are readily available except the checkerbored which are still a maybe if I can get my hands on them. I want to populate them in about 2-3 inches deep of leaf litter. Tank is a 120 long 5 foot. What species would you chose and how many of each species would you have of them?

30 Browntail Pencil fish
30-40 Cardinal Tetra
12 Corydoras
Rummy Nose Tetra would be a great addition also.

I know some Apistogramma are best kept in a harem. Tbh not enough experience with the other's. Did keep a group of 4 Checker Board but didn't live long to observe their behavior. Keep in mind those are still Cichlids and a few get aggressive especially when they spawn.

Personally I would stick with one species of dwarf.
I group of say bolivian rams could work but they won't utilise the leaf litter as much as apistogramma species will.
Personal favorite of mine are apistogramma trifasciata. You could do a decent size group of these. Just make sure you have 2or more females to each male.
Apistogramma borelli and agassizi would be the hardiest of the apistos.

for me
unsexed panduros are $5.00
Macmastri is $9.00
trifasciata are $12.00 and i have to wait till there in stock, plus shipping is 21$
you think i should get 4 of 2 species or 8 of panduros?

I suggest that you find a local forum if you are wanting to do a group buy from Winnipeg.
