Letting more air out anywhere will lessen back pressure, and it sounds like you need it in your K1 chamber, but if that doesn't do it add an extra T to the line and to a valve that releases air into the room.
It seems like when I add a valve to just release in the room I lose all pressure fr the other diffusers

Air is taking the path of least resistance, and since the diffuser is underwater and the other outlet isn't... I guess there should be some point of just barely open that would allow some air to leak and still have pressure at the diffuser, but this may not be a functional solution... A smaller air pump, an adjustable air pump, or more air stones in the tank all seem like viable solutions still...

Backpressure - Look at pump specs (CFM or LPM) and buy diffusers accordingly. IF you do this there is absolutely no need to vent anything. I run a 55 gallon reactor with 2 diffusers and I have a AP 100 on it without venting anything cause those 2 diffusers can handle more then the pump can make.

Using PVC makes for very little back pressure. This is why the diaphragms wear out prematurely. Maybe it wouldn't run as hot if it had some back pressure. Maybe back pressure decreases diaphragm stroke making it run cooler AND last longer? Maybe they're even like water pumps were resistance can actually lower power consumption?
