I didn't even know there was Pond Prime but I ran accross it on a website today and figured I'd check out how much more chlorine it removes than normal Prime. I was thinking if it's a lot more concentrated I was gonna switch back to that rather than stick with Stress Coat, but then I found that FAQ which says they're exactly the same.

Kind of odd that it doesn't say right up front that it's the same formula, because they have to know a lot of people are using it for aquariums too.

eh, it's probably only pond prime because it's in a bigger jug.

3 negatives about stress coat that I can think of quickly, for one it costs more than prime, two, it has aloe vera in it which I wouldnt want to put in the tank, and lastly I do not believe it handles chloramines properly if you have those in your water (I believe it simple breaks the chlorine/ammonia bond but would then leave ammonia in your tank).
