Great looking apisto's!

And when i said "Good looking feeders you got there :D" last time it wasn't meant as any offence whatsoever. Just rarely see these little guys on "MONSTERfishkeepers"

Infact i have an inquiry of 10x wild hongsloi, awaiting to be priced and bagged

i have the most luck keepign them in pairs, opinions will differ, lol.

Thanks forthe compliments. Hongsloi are nice! Good luck with them :)

I like my mini monsters, have the big boys too but these little guys have really caught my attention in the past year.

Not only are they interesting to observe, but the best thing about them, imo, is that you can plant your tank, and make it look aesthaticly pleasing, where the big boys will do the decorating for you :D

Was thinking i should get a pair of the inka50 wild, but i'm gonna have to go purchase some new tanks then :D Hmm... tempting

i went from having just my cac orange pair to 7 types in a matter of months, lol. I have a whole apisto rack of tanks now. Watchign them parent is fascinating and I do love my planted tanks so its a win-win.

Next up with be a mouth brooder.

lol same here - I'm up from 0 to 5 species in a couple of months. The thing with Apistos is that you need a lot of little tanks, which turns out to be harder for me than a few big tanks. Oh well :D

Beautiful beautiful pics

do you use RO water? i can't figure out why mine haven't bred yet. They're in a community setup with cory's, oto's, and tetras if that matters.

nah, just moderately hard tap water. I do have alot of wood and leaf litter in most of the tanks though it doesn't lower the hardness much. It does add alot of nice tannins.
