I think he's dying on me. I just treated him with fenbendazole tonight after a week of magnesium sulfate. I think i waited too long to deworm....
On a brighter note, i was still able to get the one pictured in my first post. He's doing great.... Should have saved the $ and went with him in the first place. Check him out...

He's dead. Found him this morning.
I really dont know what happened to him. He was eating fine in the store but never gained an appetite with me....
I threw him in the freezer so perhaps an autopsy is in order.

As for the blue guy, he was killing the krill exclusively for the first few days but I've finally got him on nls. His kok has also bounced back and he seems to be in great condition. I'm still clueless as to what category of fh he falls under but whatever he is, I like it.
Hopefully he gets a big head.... What do you think?

Sorry for your loss.

As for your new fish, It has a lot of Thai Silk blood which makes it a ZZmalau.. It will get a fairly nice sized head as well. It just won't be huge.
 
Nice pickup and sorry for your loss. I have no experience in flowerhorns except for the red faded female I got from a fellow MFKer. This and a couple of other threads have really peaked my interest. May have to figure out a new stock for my tank or a new tank altogether. Congrats on the new pickup as well.
