I made a mistake over the last couple of years while here at MFK. Every time that I saw some type of fish that I thought looked cool or was just the fish of the month, I had to have it. This made me get a lot of large tanks and made me keep switching tanks around, constantly arranging stock. After a couple of years of doing this, it has really taken a toll on my fish keeping.

My lesson learned is just to appreciate what you have and admire what others keep. I got too greedy and it almost got me out of the hobby. I am now downsizing and focusing on the fish that I have always fell back on...my favorites.

Well, I appreciate what you have! Glad to here that you're not getting completely out, and some good advice too!

sorry to hear that.

What size tanks and fish are you keeping now?

I have downsized some but right now I have...220, 180, 150, 120, and a 37. Too many fish to list. I know there are lots of people that have more tanks than this, but it was a little much for me to handle.
