Sometimes I get teased at work. I used to have only a 55 and now 4 tanks later + 1 hospital tank people think I have some kind of issue But like everything else in this world things in moderation is ok its when we go over board that the issues start showing up. Cudos man!! I hope you can find your balance.

JD, I thought you said downsizing, not adding harder waterchanges.

When he was talking about the SW tank, it made me think back to this thread. I would much rather just check out his tank or the nice display tank at the lfs more than keep my own.

Jd... this is such great advice!! I have a few tanks myself but was thinking of setting up another one, now after reading this, i really should just be content with what i have running now and just save the time for water changes and just sit back and take that time to just watch and enjoy my tanks! I know exactly how you feel. When Pbass was the "it" thing, I got some. When Dats were the craze, I wanted them really badly. But all the fish I've had, I can always enjoy the memories of keeping them. The Pbass went to Joey, and I still have the Dats, which I enjoy very much. My problem are my impluse buys. From Convicts, to Green Terror, to a pair of Salvinis. I have 2 tanks that I downsized from 5. Even though I feel that my 75g is cramp, I'll have to make due.

It's kind of sad...I couldn't even list half of the fish that I have gone through on the last few years. I was always buying/selling/trading. The only way I remember is to look back at all my threads and pictures.
