aproximating costs

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
no idea but thats a good question

yah you could look at you water bill figure it down to the cost per gallon and the figure out how much water you change and how often
look at your electric bill see how much you are paying a kilowatt
then each tank would have to be figured individually because of differences in amount of heaters filter lights ect.
you could total all of the watts used to run your equiptment and figure out how much it would use in a day and then apply it to the cost of a kilo watt

A lot depends on the elecrical uses.
How long does the heater stay on ( you dont know unless you watch the light turn off and on for a day and time its "on" time)?
How old is the pump (the actual load can change over time)?
