Since youtubers are a pretty popular topic around here let's go with Corey McElroy for the next one. I really like his content but he seems to have fallen off the map over the past few months. He barely uploads anymore and he has lost a ton of patrons lately. Does anyone have any idea what's going on with him? Also note that he is a member here as well. https://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/members/corywm.30228/

I think he uploads less now that he's traveling a lot more. He just got back from South America a few months ago and since then hes been to Germany and China. What he has been uploading from traveling has been super interesting. I get why he doesn't but I wish he showed some monster fish more often.

Sounds like he is concentrating on his business and foreign contacts right now. Not a cichlid guy, a guppy and livebearer keeper. My favorite video's are when he visit's others fishrooms. The talk's that he does on youtube have really gone down hill. Dean is awesome.

I also like a lot of his content however I do feel he isn’t really that interested in the types of fish I would be. His actual way of keeping fish differs a lot from my philosophy. He’s got a 800 gallon tank full of tiger barbs which is just plain weird.

Yeah his taste in fish differs from mine a lot, some of his content is good but his old videos were much better

You guys ever check out Palmer's fish q and a he's got a good channel as well

That's the guy with the huge tank full of tiger barbs and clown loach yeah. I think he's OK, i've watched some of his stuff but man his stock is just wrong. Tiger barbs and clown loach, what was he thinking of. Too many stripes going on in that tank for me.

His trips collecting fish are super cool. And im not gunna lie, his fish unboxing videos and just general "behind tho scene" of running his store are kinda cool to watch.

It's probably because the market for these YouTubers and aquascapers etc has rocketed in recent months, it used to be a couple of people making videos, then a handful, now there are tonnes.

Not sure what's caused it, perhaps better publicity or the great products entering the marketing from Germany etc, but it'll probably be saturated soon

His video of the massive Chinese fish market is trippy. I like the huge tank full of tiger barbs too, it's different.
