Dont be afraid to give advise to fellow fishkeepers you come across. Some of the things they have learned over the years my not be logical. People who like this hobby will welcome any information that helps make them better fishkeepers.
Yeah, this is really important. I've come across a lot of 'beginner' websites with advice from someone who probably goes through a betta every 2 months. The smaller the tank, the more any mistakes you make will show. The chemistry in a larger tank is easier to maintain, especially if you are a novice. It also allows you to add fish that you genuinely like and not those that just fit the size of your tank.
