How much does the tank weigh empty?? any idea?
 
Around 1000 LBS. However as mentioned already the tank is disassembled down to its frame and glass sheets. You will need to reassemble it. This can be done with just two people.

The top of the tank is completely open. Its frame covers the four corners and its top and bottom perimeter.

This is a great tank for the price.
 
Hey Im in Afghan, if you still have these once Im home I will take one off your hands.
