seriously. your fish addiction pales in comparison to the apparent plant addiction.

I definitely love plants. My girlfriend does too--studied botany for a while. Would highly recommend surrounding your tanks with them. I reallllly want an enormous indoor arowana pond surrounded by a mini-amazonian forest. Like, real bad.
that i would do. maybe not indoor. probably in a green house if my yard were larger

Skaley! That sucks man. I want to put an aro in this tank really bad. I would in a second if I wasn't afraid that it wouldn't get along with the gars. How big was yours when you got rid of it? How's that pbb doin?

I miss it every time I look at the tank ..... Get one man they r by far my second fav fish (right next to bichirs) lol ... It should be fine with gar iv seen many tanks with both in them.... I almost bought a 9" gar to replace it with but I decided to go with something iv never had b4 and bought a baby peacock bass lol .... Pbb is good still eatin like monster and he completely colored up now .... He's a boss lol
he finally hit 18" witch is how wide my tank is .... So needless to say me tryin to be a good fish keeper .... Did the hardest thing I ever had to do as a fish keeper and get rid of one of my fav fish I have ever owned

Oh I donated my aro to a Japanese restaurant who has a 800 gallon tank .... They had 2 3 foot aros that died a few months back due to the seals in the tank busting over night when no one was there .... So they were super happy to get a free decent sized aro donated to them lol .... I was gonna tank him to the lfs but I was like maybe they will want him .... And they did so if rather him love in a 800 gal and be happy for life then get 100$ for him and risk it goin to 180 gal lol
Yeah man, good choice. Wish there was a restaraunt near me with a tank that size. There is a place on the perimeter of the Atlanta with a big 600 gallon, but its a reef tank >_>
