aquascape opinions..

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yup, agreed. Just saying that mine works for my purpose.

A lot of people get bad readings off of hydrometers because they have bubbles on the swing, or dont rinse it out real well with the water they are testing.

Still...if you can go digital, and awesome like mos90 seems to do on everything...then you are in the clear. :D

i think it looks great. it won't look as symmetrical once you have different corals in there. What type of rock is that and how did you stick them together? Please keep updating pictures as I would really like to see how this tank plays out... like i said i love the look. subscribed

Glad to have another member in this corner of the forum buddy. :D

the rock is bulkreef supply eco rock. it stack easily with no aquastick or zipties.

i had the gate valve on my skimmer closed to much and the collection cup was full of mostly water this morning.

i ordered 5 lbs of cured manado live rock from premium aquatics to seed coraline. maybe get some cool hitchhikers too. should be here wednsday.

wife is yelling at me to clean up the rest of my mess from setting the tank up.. guess i have a project to do today. :D

I was having salinty swing issues after the cycling proces was intially over til' I realized my mistake - the sump wasn't topped off before w/c's and random testing - made an idiot mark on the sump or "fill line" so to speak made sure everything was full and circulated before testing and have never hit less than 1.025 or higher than 1.0265 since. My 210 looses up to 3 gal. a day to evaporation.

Depends on your sump...how closed in sump and tank are...lights on sump...skimmer...powerheads...surface disturbance on sump and tank etc etc

Mine will go up when I add a couple powerheads to my sump to push detritus in one direction.
