I just got off the phone with them......shipping was quoted at "prob" $70! That is REALLY expensive. Why is it that I can get a fish the same size shipped from FL to AZ for $32 bucks from one vendor, but it is that much for them to send something?

IMO $70 is CHEAP! 35 must have been USPS. It would have to be a cheap fish to trust them with a package.

I got an over night from Aquascape and it ran more like $85. Airport usually runs about the same.

nope, not USPS....fed ex air overnight.

Agree, I have had UPS and fedex overnight services for around $40. I never understood these shipping charges that are like $70-$100 like some guys charge.

I actually placed the order on their website, and have called 2 or 3 times. Each time I have been told that they would ship in the next day or two. Still hasn't happened.

Looks like this may be pretty normal, Ill just keep after them.

I order a fish and 3D background from him a few years ago. I got the fish in a couple of days and it was great. I never got the background, they didn't return calls or emails, the one time I got someone on the phone they said it was being shipped from the manufactor and should arrive in 2 days. A few days later I called the manufactor and they said they haven't had that piece in stock for months and had no order from Aquascape or me. After 2 months I had to do a charge back to get my $250 back. Nice fish but I wont buy from him again. However since they tried to steal $250 from me I will tell this story every chance I get for the next 50 years.

yeah but it's from the same people, customer service is same no matter what the product they're selling. They straight up lied to me. They even had it listed on their website as "in stock" when I bought it and for several months after this issue. Good luck.
