I live in northeast PA those places are prob near Lancaster... the local pet store in ordering for is delivering So I'm not complaining.

$1000 for new tank and stand is a good deal . last time I prices that tank out it was $1300. congrats on the new toy

I believe I got my 180g aqueon tank from aquascape for $1100. That include 180g aqueon with black silicone, RJ stand, and glass canopies. I paid an extra $300 for a wood canopy that I ended up selling. Pedro gave me a pretty good deal frankly. I think the tank was like $530 and stand was $500. RJ stands are higher quality than basic ones. In all honesty, if I could do it again, I would probably just build my own stand from 2x4s and wrap it in painted plywood. Save a little money but be much sturdier.

mrrobxc, I'm looking to buy this tank for a new setup in my shop in Chestnut Hill. I see the Aqueon 180 setup at Natural Pet for $1879. I know it's four years since the post above, but have prices really gone up that much or is the this a bad deal?

That’s a big increase from the prices I paid. I would wait to find something used or wait for a sale. That’s a lot for a 180.

Yep prices on new glass tanks have shot up in the last couple years as well as pretty much everything else. I would be surprised to find a new 180 setup for under $2k delivered.

I have 2 and 1 marineland. i like the aqueons better. as stated, before the black silicon makes for a cleaner look too. all mine have been up and running for 5/6 years
