I paid $100 for a marineland double bright led. 48"

Heres a pic of how bright it is for your reference. Not that my phone camera does it any justice. It was much brighter than my florescent lamps.

Keep in mind that's a 90g. Its fairly deep

I must have had the single bright on my 90, it wasn't nearly that bright, which I didn't mind but it stopped working after approx 3 yrs. A friend gave it to me so no big loss, but kind of pricy if they don't last. The 48" double bright costs approx $140 in Canada, I got my 48" Aqueon for $80.

thinking im going to hold out for a boxing day sale and see if I can score a current usa freshwater led plus light, has lots of different options for lighting when it is on and I can change how much blue and white and etc I like and want in my tank ..... FYI my tank is 24" deep too

current usa led - 239 (50,000hrs)
marineland dbl led - reg 349 / sale 199 (17,000hrs)

have read online reviews that the marinelands fail a lot as well
