the dirty south
went to a store in Huntington beach the other day and they had about ten baby paimas acclimating that they just got in i guess i have never seen these before for sale at a lfs and honestly it makes me mad because that means these guys will most likely be going to a home not suited for them i asked the owner about them and if he is selling them to people he knows that have big tanks and he said no just whoever wants them and they were only 60 bucks i dont know if im the only one that feels this way but it made me upset i feel bad for them heres a pic it was really hard to get a good picture of them

Yikes, $60...people are selling them on here for more than 4 times that not including shipping. Thats unfortunate for the fish though. I feel like the lower price might make them more likely to go to an unsuitable home...not that there are very many suitable homes to begin with.

I swear people, at these kinds of prices, they'll be in our local rivers and lakes soon. Than our legislative government will pass an anti invasive species law making it illegal to import the exotic fishes that we all love...maybe not, but just a thought
