I hear ya man. It's different though in San Diego. Many people say Socal, in general, is the place to be for good deals, but I say it's LA and OC. San Diego is...eh. Whenever I see monster fish in SD I am always surprised. It's really uncommon around here. As for the price, I did a quick search and many vendors are listing them at around 100 to 150 on average. And those range from So Cal to East coast. I felt $189 was reasonable, in comparison, also because they didn't have to ship them in. Thanks for the bumpage.

that ****s expensive. was 50 dollars in orange county and many fish stores. Dat african Aro is da rare one right now.. One shop had two babies here and no others have it
 
african aros just came in by the butt load. westminster shops have like 5 at each store. i know tikis in bellflower had 6 the other day and toms in long beach had 4. at 40 a pop. and pimas are still at a hundred in some stores in the oc. if your still ingterested or if you want any then pm me. i can have a buddy of mine send you some
 
By just came in do you mean literally just came in within the last 3 days? Cause I went shopping last week and the only one that had em was at Big Sav(98 cent store). Talking about african aro's
