Male nanos can get to a solid 4" or so...

Some wild convict types seem to max out at 3" or so...even smaller in nature

which one is more blue? Centrarchus or HRP? Or is there a bluer fish of this gruop?

HRP's are definitely the bluer of the two. Centrarchus are more of a green color.

I currently keep centrarchus, cutteri, & spilurus. I have kept a bunch of different ones but sold/traded in a lot of them. Right now I like my centrarchus the best. Here is a picture of my 5 when I had them as a group.

I narrowed it down to my best pair and removed the others now I am just waiting for them to successfully spawn. I am surprised how big these got the male has to be 5-6". I got 6 @ .25" of them at a auction for $2 about 2 years ago.
