suprisingly they were cheaper than just about every common cichlid. the Haitiensis were even cheaper, but the problem you run into there is you need to have a huge tank for just one fish so I can see why they might not sell so easily.
i have heard they are pretty suspectible to die before they hit the 4-5" mark, but Festae are also commonly known to die or become diseased out of nowhere and look at how popular they are now, (they were in the tank next to the beani)
my question still stands, if I wanted to keep a single Beani later down the line, whats the minimum tank ? because they are pretty small at maximum size compared to oscars or jags.
