Are fish all stupid?

I have had several cichlids get stuck in different ornaments and equipment :WHOA: it just happens maybe they where after food or just curious :nilly: i don't think they are stupid they just got instinks they follow.:grinno:
 
The reason that it killed it self is because it didnt like your face so I couldnt stand it any more. JK JK.

My LMB always come up to the glass when i come in the room
 
At one time I had a betta in my community tank and he would swim into the internal filter and just sit there. Every time I would walk by the tank I would open the lid and he would swim out. Guess he just liked it in there. Lived for a long time, until my mother in law killed it.
I would have to say my Oscars are the smartest fish I own.
 
Yep, while they can be smart they sure do stupid things sometimes. (Infact I just lost a cichlid via almost the same thing.) But seeing as I seem to be able to train my fish better than my dog, I am going to say they are smart.

I had a clown loach that had somehow gotten into my HOB filter. Couldent find him for a week. Then someone sudgested I check the filter, and there was one pissed (but otherwise OK) Clown Loach! LOL:ROFL:
