Are paroon Sharks illegal ????

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You are a rare individual these days Jason. But My wife and I have had similar things happen and it sucks.

Looks like one guy is taking a RTC and Paroon today and another guy looks to be taking the rest TBTB :) Jon is going to fast the fish for a next week pickup if possible. I'm going to go up and help them out them, that's a lot of big big fish to move and 16 hour trip :) Will post more info as I get it.

I'm driving down to Fort Myers in two weeks but I'm not sure I'd have the room for that many giants lol

Wonder why the sea lamprey is on the list its salt water so if set loose it wouldn't survive in the freshwater

Depends on what stage of development. Many fish live in both fresh and saltwater at different points in their development, the sea lamprey being one of them.

It's all due to evolution. Fish started out as sea creatures: some evolved to become exclusively fresh water, while others evolved to spend only part of their life in fresh water.

It sounds like you have an enormous love for the hobby since you have gone above and beyond so many times to help others also enjoy the hobby. That's really what this whole MFK community is about. We all help out based on the level of our knowledge. There has to be a healthy line drawn to protect yourself from such incidents or else it no longer becomes a "passion". That line is different for everyone. It's hard to be trusting after getting burned so many times - I hear ya. Not all of us has been there. I've been on the other side though - having to change plans due to an unexpected event - and I felt terrible. Sounds like you are a fellow "Ohioan" so even though I am not nearly advanced with monsters, I hope we can help each other out someday.

Thanks for the sentient. I take my cues from other posters who literally do it all the time. And yes, I love animals, fish in particular.

Half of My family came from Ohio, although that's not where I was raised, so I'm sure that has rubbed off on me. I've always felt good about the mid-western traits.
