Are Stingrays easy to keep?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
you will need atleast a 180 gallon aquarium...3 feet deep aquarium is good for about 4 years for a motoro...I think

anyone have any tips or suggestions about getting a retic ray???
or have one for sale...?

not even close. im not saying this in a rude way at all bc thats not my thing... but if you have to ask then they most likely arent for you... atleast not at this point.

i bet you were born knowing everything and have never had to ask a question to learn anything at all:screwy:

just read all you can the stickies are a good source of knowledge

The stickies convinced me to wait, Rays are not for beginners at all.

Some things I learned.
You need a tank that is perfectly cycled and very stable before you even begin, you need huge filtration, lots of water changes, only some suitable tank mates, fairly big tank will be needed, very expensive to buy, and so on.

For something of that caliber (Initial investment cost) I'd do months of research, planning, and setup.

yeah i plan on waiting and getting my tank ready any way i can
