Are Stingrays easy to keep?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Theres no easy or hard. If you need to ask what type of ray is easier to keep, then rays is not for you. If you consistantly change your water, and feed everyday with quality foods, every ray is the same. No ray is harder to keep than another. Except maybe antenas, but theyre not potamotrygons.

well then i should be able to keep one since i can do all that.
was just wanting some feedback from the experienced.

If you can do all that, then go for it, dont hesitate.

Retic are easy to keep...BUT, very hard to convert to different foods.

yeah i really wanna get one as soon as my tank is ready.

whats a common fav food for retics????

Can't hyperlink on this crappy netbook. Google "Calgary Zoo ray deaths".
Big mystery. Turns out the butler did it.

atlantic stingrays are saltwater...they'll be dying pretty soon if you leave them in freshwater...

Its not that hard to starve lol.

they are easy to keep as long as you have the basics

big tank
good filtration
1-2 25% water changes per week

the most important thing is to get a good health ray to start with one that is feeding well and fat
