Are there different types of managuense cichlid?

Do they tend to be active swimming around or are they more stationary. I am really thinking about getting him but the last thing I want is a single fish that just sits at the bottom.

Mine is active but I've heard others say theirs just laze around.my boy is always our patrolling the tank

My 15" male jag is decently active. He does like to lurk around his piece of driftwood but he does use the whole tank though.

I may have to give it a shot. I am going to have to get rid of a few fish but man I cant let this guy go. At least now I know what I can do with all the firemouth fry I have those guys are like rabbits.

Yeah. Jags are hard to resist. My male loves to snack on convict fry. A good way to feed live food you can trust. Good luck!
