so ur saying that male
dovii Rio Heredia, Costa Rica are not yellow ???

In comparison to the females in those picture, yes. thats exactly what Im saying...perhaps I should have clarified that.

I guess I need to break out the pantone chart before I make comments about shades of yellow (Amber, Apricot, Arylide yellow, Aureolin, Beige, Blond Buff, Chartreuse yellow, Chrome yellow, Citrine, Cream, Dark goldenrod Ecru, Flavescent, Flax, Fulvous, Gamboge , Gold, Gold (metallic) Goldenrod, etc etc etc) and the confusion that may ensue if I dont precisely describe the colors associated with the context of the discussion.

those are both females in those threads (thats why their yellow...the males arent yellow at all) and they are 1 kind of the costa rican variant. The bluer variant is from Rio Hugeron in CR (I think) and Nicaragua.

hes in Turkey. Try the vendor forum or marketplace if youre looking for dovii to be shipped.

well sorry but u r wrong all the way first of all they arent dovii at all 2nd yellow dovii males are very yellow but they do still get blue fins !!

:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

Nothing I said was wrong.

I never stated those were dovii in the picture...and I actually agreed with you in your first comment about them.

I was referring to the pictures in the links he posted. You asked if I thought male dovii from Rio Heredia werent yellow, and I said in comparison to the the females in the pictures he linked to, they werent as intense a yellow. Also, and I figured you would know this, but there are what is considered 2 variants..the costa rican and the nicaraguan.

For ease of identification, CRs are described as yellow and Nics are blue. I didn't invent it, thats just how its been for the past....at least 8 or so years. I didnt realize that it was now even further broken down into general base color and fin coloration too.

As a vendor, Im surprised youd even continue on this pointless discussion, de-railing a thread even further.

Thanks, but I dont need pics of them. Ive had every variant there is over the years....and that pic is photoshopped to hell.

Im not saying they dont get yellow, Im saying in comparison to the females, the males dont get that Yellow. Thats all...
