That's not my entry but alot of people still don't believe there is a gold Trimac Because the Green one is more common these days, I'm not saying it's a new Trimac but it is a Trimac. The guy who bred thos Trimacs in the video named them Pyro Trimacs because of the fact he has been breeding them for over 20 years and that's well before antone knew what a Flowehorn was!!
To me, they look like FH's based on the red coloration. BUT I am far from an expert. As for the green and gold Trimac, I'm sure that's just because they're from different locations. Like the different Carpintis and Jags... crossing them is nothing special. They're just mixed variants of the actual species.
These are not photo's of my Pyro Trimac. If you want to see real pure blood PyroMac's all you have to do is check-out my videos on youtube "fishlaw1" or just Google Pyro Trimac cichlid pic's.
Okay guys & girls, let me attempt to impart some knowledge. One of these Trimac cichlids is a new school Pyro Trimac and the other is a old school Trimac that I purchased from Jeff Rapps. Now can anyone tell me which one is a Pyro Mac? And which one is from Jeff-Rapps? Now for all of you who don't know what's a Pyro Trimac it's a line breed Trimac. Like for example the "Barred Midas cichlid" has many diff- blood lines such as the "Red Isletas/ Chancho/ Amarillo" and many more. But do we question if they're true barred Midas cichlids? No we don't because at the end of the day you have a Midas cichlid. So why some of you question the Pyro Trimac? Because the same go for them at the end of the day you have a true Trimac cichlid. Like I said before documentation beats conversation all day long. So which of the two is my Pyro Trimac? The one to your left or the one on your right? YOU MAKE THE CALL ! ! !
