Id say endli too and like hao says they look so thin they look like ropes,if they are rare in your area that get them but if not id wait for more healthier looking specimens.

I wouldn't worry about them being so thin. I would be more worried about their cloudy eyes. Is that just the picture or are they like that in person as well?

My guess is that they are 8" long at the moment. The LFS guy feeds them heartbeef and feeder fish once a week. No wonder they look underweight: they are likely underweight

I might do that but their price is way high: USD110.00 each but I can afford to buy them. I'll try to cut a deal for both next Saturday.

What is the usual length of this species? Can they be trained to eat prepared fish food?

Can they stay for a year or so in a tank with 30"L x 18"W footprint?

I think the price is higher cause they are miss label if u correct them by giving them the right id on it u may be able to get them at a cheaper price

I'm thinking about getting them tomorrow. For what I understand they would do fairly well in a 4 footer for the time being. Am I right?

I saw pics of this species as adults and they look great. These two specimens at the LFS are starving.
