I got both of them today! The measure a bit under 7", probably between 6 1/2" and 6 3/4". I told the owner of the LFS these were P endlicheri endlicheri. He insisted they were sold to him by his vendor in Thailand as P lapradei.
However when I told him my new found friend Mr Hao, a 14 years old boy from Taiwan, confirmed them being endlis, he conceded by stating he was not really an expert on these type of fish.
I placed them in a 5.5gal tank full of tank raised Red Cherry Shrimp. I need both of them to start eating so I figured keeping them there for a couple of days won't hurt.
They were quite jumpy on their way home.
I'll start a new thread on my pair of wild caught endlicheri endlicheri.
Thank you very much for your helpful hand.
