if you have any mexican markets around you check them for frozen whole fish and shrimp. the ones out here sell bags of whole fish and shrimp by the pound. no preservatives just fish and ice. one of the ones here occasionally has whole perch and crappie along with crayfish. also a good place to get beef heart if you feed that at all.

It's great you guys enjoy fishing. Those moments of quiet companionship are golden. My 3 kids all spent a lot of time on the water with my wife and I and now that they're all grown up I miss those years

How old are they ? Mine oldest is 6 and already to cool to hug me. Says we are supposed to fist pump or bro hug sucks i miss him being a baby
The youngest is in high school and very busy with extracurricular bands and Taekwon Do, middle guy in university studying video game design, oldest is a psychiatric nurse working full time night shifts.
Good part isn't now they're big enough to take different adventures with us.
