i have three tanks a 75 gallon a 65 gallon and a 30 gallon and i am getting a tank for chrismas it will probibly be at lest 40 gallons i will hopefully get more
 
My mother keeps telling me i have a problem cause i keep bring fish home... :stingray:
 
Dude you need serious help, run out and buy 10 more tanks, that ought to help the craving.:drool:

I've got.. 29 tanks running... but trying to downsize

3 upstairs (30, 72, 240)
9 in the "fish room" in the basement (4x40-125,150,2x75,90)
12 on the "fish rack" all 30's
1 40 gallon with hatchling turtles
2x180 in the other basement area
1500 gallon koi "tank" in the basement
300 gallon turtle tank in basement

I also have about 100 tanks ranging from 10 to 55 gallons sitting empty.

AND a 6,000 pond outside being made, with a 2,000 gallon pond in the works for the turtles as well.

I have 6 tanks now up and running, the smallest is a 120.
 
Prefer to say I have MTS or Multiple Tank Syndrome, I have 8 tanks and can see all bar 2 from the computer.

1. 55gal - Mangrove Jack,

2. 55gal - Royal Degree Flowerhorn

3. 80gal - WC Tiger Oscar, Jack Dempsy , Green Texas and a Chocolate Pleco

4. 110gal - African Tank

5. 20gal - 3 Convicts, 1 Albino Convict (all Female)

6. 35gal - Red Devil

7. 35gal - Jag

8. 35gal - 2 Redclaw Crayfish
 
I want to see some monthly water and electric bill stats. All these multiple tank lists look dreamy and all, but let's see the bottom line, how much are you actually paying for this hobby. The numbers will be enough to put it all into perspective. Like this example - I got 25 tanks yahoo, but my monthly bill is $1,000 DOH!!! Not so dreamy now, is it, I want to see the dark side of the hobby lol

My electric bill is $250 a month, and my water bill averages about $30 a month.

Noting that I run 3- 100 watt Mercury Vapor Bulbs for 12 hours a day as well.. not too shabby. And a large external pond pump 24/7/365.
