yeah, i cant imagine not having a sister! weird...i try to make my cousins talk all the time, but they refuse to. when i took both of them out to eat, it was sooo weird...they wouldn't even look at each other. i just gave up in the end.

i did, but i changed it to the 3rd choice because i thought it was kind of morbid to have siblings but wish you were an only child.

My brothers hated each other until they grew up and had kids of their own.
my father-in-law hated his brother and they didn't start talking until recently and they are in their 50's.
i guess women are the peacemakers and men are the fighters on the battlefield.

what research. or did you just hear that somewhere and are claiming it was research.

true, many parents spoil their only children. but i see just as many spoiled brats that have no respect at all for their parents that have siblings. Sometimes a lot of siblings. it depends on the parents. only children that have no respect for their parents, where never taught to respect their parents. Just like kids WITH siblings need to be taught respect.

I was legally adopted five times. And had more unofficial parents. You know, one guy moves out another moves in, that's "Dad".
I had siblings. Or at least other children that happened to be living in the same house as I was, at the time. But was never close with any of them. I had a much different life than they did. I had no idea how to relate with anyone.
I left town very young and never looked back. Not even when things went bad and I needed help.
About 20yrs later, I put myself on Facebook so a specific person could find me. Only took three days for a sister to contact me. Turns out they were looking for me the whole time. And they aren't so bad.

well. you had a much different life that a lot of us. That must have been tough. I cant imagine. But that is SO increadibly cool that all that time, you had a true family member looking for you and you found each other.

my wifes an only child, what a whinney, poutty faced,cry baby! if she reads this i'm dead but its true! still gets her way with a lip with her momma! I have 3 siblings and we all kicked each other straight!
