Are You Guys For Real? I Mean SERIOUSLY...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
If you look at the thread near this one, you will se a few pics of my new Giant. A Marulius. At 3-4 inches it is doing lovely in his tank, soon to be moved to our outdoor regulater pond. I know not too much of the Marulius compared to my knowledge of other snakeheads. I AM a responsible SH keeper.

What I would like to know, is who exactly is this thread aimed at?
And I may have missed your point (waaay to much unbroken text for me) but what was it?

So you had to release a giant? You feel the need to lecture?

I Agree..... I Think we all understand the point your trying to make.. the extremes and the length your going with it however is a bit farfetched....

P.S Im not gunna lie, nor saying this to be rude, but i read maybe 8 lines of that novel you wrote before i lost interest ..... and i think out of everyone posting on this thread your the one trying to feed your ego "SnakeHead Whisperer":screwy:

To whom this thread is aimed at? Um.. irresponsible Giant Snakehead keepers??

Listen, I give up guys, you win if that is what you want. If you couldn't see my simple point, fine. I got a life to live, I just posted a thread out of concern. If that has to cause arguments instead of a simple understanding, then to hell with this thread. If you know yourself to be a responsible fish keeper then WHY THE FFF are you guys overly affected? Stings somewhat I see? Well sorry if it stings ya a little bit, that's you facing yourself, not me. And I am done trying to explain myself.

Right. Gotcha! Cheers!
The thing is, MOST of the people on these boards are pretty responsible.
The ones that are not, wouldn't take a blind bit of notice anyhow.

But you have to remember this is "MONSTER fishkeepers" website, so I guess the majority of us folks have a passion for keeping "MONSTERS".

I think you have a very aggressive "listen to me and agree or GTFO" attitude, which will only bring you similar replies.

BUT . . . I do see where you are coming from in a certain way.
So next time try being a bit more open to other peoples OPINIONS, and you might not get so much hate back towards you.

. . . Over And Out.

I've a solution, once grew to 3 feet, you cant release on your local UK lakes, the zoo refuse them...cooked it!!!

great with dry chilli or curry.:D

there you go, win win situation

Well said.

I think the majority of us feel that if you want to keep a "monster" fish, then be prepare for the responsibility. However, you're coming off a bit aggressive with everyone. Giant Snakeheads are definitely an aggressive monster, but so are Jardinis, Electric Eels, Wolf Fish, etc. What's to say that this fish makes it that much more of a monster than those mentioned? It's very subjective view on what fish is meaner/better/whatever and you can't get mad at people for wanting to point that out.

I agree with Ben. Let's just agree to disagree, folks. If you cannot debate properly, then you have no reason to continue posting and make circling arguments. There is no reason to start getting personal as well.
