ARE YOU MIXING YOUR LUNG WITH OTHER FISH????

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Used to have a gibby with my Aus Lung untill the gibby started feeding on his slime coat.
I was warned about this but hoped it wouldn't happen but it did.
They were in a 210 with RTGG, 5 Lemon Finned Barbs, 2 Uaru,1 NT Dat, 3 Stirbi Cory, 1 Kribensis. So out with the gibb.

yeah i've got my aussie lungfish in with a green arowana, temensis and a flagtail prohilodus all living happy together

im hoping to have an arowana with my wal soon

ive always loved that fish but i went from having fish it would eat to fish that would eat him, now i just have my bottom trawling lung im hoping they will mix

I keep my 9" AUL with-

5-3" Purple Spotted gudgeon (Mogurnda mogurnda)
7-2" Goyder River Rainbowfish (Melanotaenia trifasciata)

...so far so good

Is anybody mixing their lungfish with other other fish species? Ive got a annectensm thats in with a small gibbiceps which he has been fine with i don't trust him with anything else.
hi bogwoodbruce i mix my lungfish with snakeheads & others fishes check pic in my gallery!

when i got home to day it appeared that my ancient golden severum wont be with us much longer, he's been on his way out for the last couple of months sadly so my lung will soon have his own tank.

I might buy a bunch of guppies and see if they can breed faster than they are eaten...my guess is no

Hi...

I keep mine (Protopterus annectens, P. aethiopicus) both alone in their own tanks.

P. annectens is very active, agressive with other Fish and would eat everything, tested this for some times.
