Are your Red Isletas red?

I got F1 from jeff rapps (male) as i know a few of you did, and my fish isn't even remotely red, and i have seen the most other MFK'ers red's and they have to same sort of markings. dark bars like barred midas with blue spangleing type dots on the body scales. have yet to see a "Red" one.

heres a shot from a long time ago shows his pink face my has never really been red like the one in jeff's pic but its face changes from light to dark pink depending on its mood

my guy is somewhere around 5-6" now. I've never seen any pink/red on him

cross i'm almost certain you have a barred midas there.

Besides his apperance i have stock in jeff knowing what he ships out and sells.

The one in Jeff's pics, looks like it was taken just after collection...I'm sure being exposed to the sun, brings out more intense reds. Just like Midas, and Red Devils.

He is awesome looking! Actually like the pink tones on him. How old was he in this pic?

I think you should just ship him to me! LOL He looks like a Midas to me. Someone else has Barred Midas on MFK and theirs was reddish too. Excellent looking!!
