Arizona sucks!

I just bought 16 piranha today...I dont even really like them but at $4 a pop they were a steal so I bought em all ha ha. Got them in my refuge until they get big enough for a monster tank. Ill let you look at mine if you would like! :ROFL:

I wouldnt worry too much about not being able to get the piranha because they are over hyped anyways, but rays and gars...that sucks
 
Yeah, I have heard that piranha are boring until it's feeding time. I guess it dosn't get cold enough in the winter to kill them off, so we could easily have a viable breeding population in our man made lakes OH NOES!
 
the crazy thing is IT'S A FREAKIN DESERT! THERE ARE NO NATIVE SPECIES!
well there are but they are all almost extinct and live in the Colorado River. I think I want to move to a state where I can catch neat fish like Florida.
 
not a ray or p but the ocean floor off i-17 and thomas has a good sized gar currently
 
Just for further information, there all some species of freshwater stingrays and gars that are legal to keep and sell in AZ. Pets Inc in Tempe periodically carries both. I cant remember the exact species but they had the rays for a long time.
 
pets inc carries brackish rays was just there yesterday

that really does suck! im lucky i live in canada where just about any fish is a-ok, even rare and endangered ones. no worries bout releasing in the wild cause when the snow fly's, they would die off anyways.(not that i advocate that kind of stupidity!)
