Armatus bickering- When is enough enough???

Add more rays so they worry more about the them and have less time to worry about eachother.:)

This has always worked for me with multiple predators....add a bigger threat that concerns them more than each other

Yours still doing ok??? Rays still haven't got them?

Your blackies are around 16" right?

Maybe it is time they go to the big tank......

Yep, no damage to eachother or by the rays. But we know how quickly that can change. My biggest Blackie is a solid 14 maybe 15 inches. Big enough to kill them if she could get a hold of them but so far the are quicker than her.

Their big eyes and leaving moonlights on every night is the key to them surviving the rays. No stealth approaches. Just my observations with the little experience I have with them.

Have had issues like this with my 3 armies before in my 150 growout, I added all three and a tat to the big tank and no more issues. Agreeing with the other guys here as once a bigger threat(16" vatf) is in the tank they tend to ignore each other. 2 with the tat pack together and the alpha goes on his own.

Here's what mine looked like. It was down to the bone and almost detached.

Initially I thought it was from my GATF but comparing to yours now I'm thinking it was from the other Army. I still have my 3 together and luckily haven't had anything worse than that. That was about 3 months ago and it's since healed.

That's pretty severe.Looks like the tail could have been torn off.

Healing up well. Seems like the 2 smaller ones get along fine. They went to the 180 with the male midget Marbles, Iguaza & Aimara Wolves.

Bigger one went to the big tank where Robert has been prepping the lil space monkey for project mayhem..... He too is healing up well. No issues with any of the other monsters in there though.

So how is the larger one holding up in the big boy tank?

They heal up very well contrary to what I have read. I was always lead to believe that being small scaled they developed bacterial infections from wounds and stress causing any kind of scale damage. So far I have seen quite the opposite.

My middle one had similar gashes on at least 3 occasions when in the 55 but have healed to where you can barely see any scarring.

My smallest one had eye damage to the point that it was at least 4 times its size and full blood. But it went down within a week and all blood gone in 10-14 days. No visible signs of damge at all and neither ever stopped eating. Also while in the 55.
