Armatus Dithers

Just goes to show you that all Armatus are different. The 13 incher I had lived with a Pink tailed Chelceus from the time I got it up till about 11 inches. The PTC was 5. The Armatus Didn't kill a single tankmate. Was off live by 6 inches. I think it has more to do with the owners personality than the fish's.

LOL...sounds great.....IF it works....LOL I only bought 5 cause I'll be damnd if I am going to be Armatusless again. Losing my first still to this day makes me sick to even think about....the only thing worse was the fact I couldn't find another one. Thank god someone brought in these wonderfull "Tats" LMAO!!!!!
Pacu is done. I added a little silver dat last night. Took a look this morning to see how things were and the Pacu had an eyeball snatched last night....99% sure it was the dat. I used to throw feeders in its tank to hold them a couple days a lil bastid would snatch all the eyes within a couple days. So there's no way I'm risking it snatching an Armatus eyeball. No luck with smelt on a fishing string OR krill. Bout my only option now is to move the Rhaph back out of the pond and in with the Armatus.
Don't risk it bro! Armatus eyes are sensitive. I got one bumped into a driftwood, one eye got cloudy. Next day the eye popped huge and then exploded. I keep my Armatus with bichirs and Aussie Lungfish
Attempt #3 for Dithers..... Only difference is this time the "dithers" have teeth. Guess that would raise them in classification from dithers to tankmates...... Anyways..... These guys were introduced on Friday and began eating by Saturday. I was given a large container of Krill with them. After 3 days guess what..... The largest Armatus now eats krill too.... Thanks to these guys.
