I think it would be gangster as hell if you could get all five domesticated payara; H. tatauaia, H. scomberoides, Rhaphiodon and Cynodon.

good idea! I actually wouldn't get the raph, cynos or scombs since they sometimes die for no reason. I also don't like their looks. My idea is that once I get a big enough tank, I would buy 3 or 4 tats with my armatus. My armatus would be king!
Aren't you planning on collecting all species of ATFs?

Anybody heard of Gilbertolus Alatus? Nobody seems to know this rare fish. It's like a mini armatus.

I've got gatf and tatf already, I've got leads on vatf and fatf, just need to find brevis. Based on the published scientific descriptions, I've not seen anything in anyones tank that I'm convinced has been brevis. I've seen a couple that I think might be brevis, but nothing conclusive so far. Most of the stuff I've seen has been forskahlii that people call brevis.

I saw another fish at Sharkaquarium a few years ago that kind of resembled an armatus...cynopotomus I think it was called.Another member here beat me to them lol.
